The Barnsley Concert Band has approximately 40 members. New players are always welcome, particularly bassoon, brass and percussion players.

Members pay an annual subscription fee (this works out around 1.50 per rehearsal), which is used to subsidise band trips, buy music and other essential equipment.

Whatever your reason for wanting to join a band, whether you want to improve your playing, are currently learning an instrument or have not played for some time, please come along to one of our rehearsals to see what we're about! There are no auditions and the atmosphere is informal with all music supplied.

Please contact us if you are interested in joining the band.
